Chad Ochocinco Takes A Jab At Steelers, Presumably Forgetting He's On VH1

Man, I haven’t seen this many girls on a football field since the last time we played the Steelers.

That’s what Cincinnati Bengals loudmouth wide receiver Chad Ochocinco said on “Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch,” a new reality (and I use that term loosely) series on VH1 that involves Ochocinco sifting through (you guessed it) 85 potential mates.

Even as a Steelers fan, I actually find Ochocinco’s antics pretty amusing. Especially his 2005 checklist that determined, postgame, whether or not opposing cornerbacks were able to cover him. (The answer, of course was always “no.”) Or more recently, when the receiver raced a horse for charity.

I guess the zinger guided at the Steelers is kind of funny – even if it’s a little sexist. Still, I can’t help but wonder if Ochocinco isn’t familiar with the old saying: “Those in glass houses mortifying dating shows on VH1 that cater to the lowest intellectual denominator shouldn’t throw stones.”
