The Pittsburgh Steelers face the Arizona Cardinals this weekend, and the long haired one should be able to return from his concussion in time to be in the starting lineup
Just as the Steelers defense was starting to round into form, perhaps their most important playmaker Troy Polamalu suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of the Steelers win over the the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday. But according to Terry McCormick of the National Football Post at Yahoo Sports, Polamalu has been cleared to play in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
The prognosis might not be quite as good for Chris Hoke and Doug Legursky, according to CBS Pittsburgh. Nose tackle Chris Hoke suffered a stinger in the same game and does not have full strength yet; there is no timetable for his return. As for the guard Legursky, he suffered a dislocated toe that will not require surgery, but that could keep him out of the lineup for at least a few weeks.
We'll be covering this game throughout the week in this StoryStream. For more information the Steelers, head over to Behind the Steel Curtain. For more on the Cardinals, check out SB Nation Arizona and Revenge of the Birds.
