The Pittsburgh Penguins have been hit hard by the injury bug so far this year, with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Tyler Kennedy, Brooks Orpik and others going down, and their string of bad luck continued on Monday. According to Bob McKenzie, the Penguins will have to be without defenseman Zbynek Michalek for about a month as he recovers from a broken finger.
Michalek has played in ten games for the Penguins this year and has one goal with two assists while racking up a -5 rating.
