Penguins Schedule 2011: Pittsburgh Will Face Islanders In Sidney Crosby's Return

The Pittsburgh Penguins will have a busy week, facing three opponents, but the biggest news is that it will include the return of Sidney Crosby.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are 11-6-3 this year, but a busy week provides the opportunity to move up the rankings. And oh yeah - a little bit of help is on the way. More on that in a moment.

Their first game this week comes against the New York Islanders on Monday at 7:00 PM. The big story from that game, of course, is that it will bring the return of Sidney Crosby after missing almost 11 months due to concussion like symptoms. For more on his return, check out this StoryStream, where we will have plenty more as the game goes on.

Their next game will be on Wednesday against the St. Louis Blues at home. The Blues boast one of the stingiest defenses in the NHL, giving up just 2.2 goals per game.

Their final game of the week comes on Friday at home against the Calgary Flames.

We'll have plenty more on all these games as the week moves on on SB Nation Pittsburgh, but for more on the Penguins, check out our team blog at PensBurgh.
