The Duquesne Dukes will look to improve their record to 5-1 against the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils on Saturday afternoon.
The Duquesne Dukes will take on the Central Connecticut Blue Devils on Saturday afternoon at Arute Field.
Duquesne is on quite a roll, winners of their last four games after dropping the season opener 57-23 against the Old Dominion Monarchs back on Sept 1.
In their last outing on Sept 29 versus the St. Francis Red Flash, the Dukes racked up a whopping 430 yards of total offense including 179 on the ground. Perhaps even more impressively, Duquesne was 10-of-14 on third down conversions.
On the other hand Central Connecticut is still trying to secure its first victory of the year. The Blue Devils have had a rough time in 2012, with their closest margin of defeat being 13 points which came against the Sacred Heart Pioneers.
In that contest, Central Connecticut was undone with a bad showing on offense. The Blue Devils only gained 243 yards and turned the ball over three times.
