NFL scores: Ravens have big lead in AFC North after close win over Cowboys, plus Bengals and Steelers losses

It turned out to be a very, very good week for the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North.

First, the Steelers lost on Thursday. Then came the Cincinnati Bengals, who were next on the chopping block with a 34-24 upset loss to the irrelevant Cleveland Browns, who won their first game of the season. Andy Dalton threw three interceptions, including a 19-yard pick-six to Sheldon Brown that gave Cleveland its third fourth-quarter touchdown. The Browns' Josh Gordon caught three balls for 99 yards and a score.

That dropped the Bengals to 3-3, and the Ravens went two full games up on the rest of the division by squeaking by the Cowboys, 31-29. Baltimore was up 31-23 when Tony Romo completed a four-yard touchdown pass to Dez Bryant. The two-point conversion failed, however, leaving the Cowboys down two with 36 seconds to play. The Cowboys then recovered the onside kick and got a pass interference call on their first play, setting them up at the Baltimore 34 yard line, but they wasted some time on a one-yard pass and were forced to kick a 51-yard field goal, which Dan Bailey missed. Ray Rice had 63 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the Ravens' win.
