BBVA Compass Bowl gifts for Pitt and Ole Miss

US PRESSWIRE

Pitt fans aren't real thrilled about the team's BBVA Compass Bowl trip. Having been there twice already, I'm not sure how many will be making the trip down to Birmingham. And it's safe to say that the players would probably rather be headed somewhere else, too. But that doesn't mean the game doesn't have its perks.

College bowl games can offer to players a gift bag with a limit on contents of $550.00. Playing in the BBVA Compass Bowl, Pitt and Ole Miss will receive a nice package of prizes, according to ESPN. The site says that players will receive a Fossil watch, Oakley Dispatch II sunglasses, a wireless portable speaker, backpack, and football.

That's not a bad collection of prizes for playing in a postseason game. Obviously, the Panthers had their eyes set on a different bowl game this season to avoid a third consecutive trip to Birmingham. But at least they'll be heading home with some nice gifts.

You can see the gifts for other bowl games here.
