The Big East will formally announce that West Virginia is moving on to the Big 12 on Tuesday, but the Big 12 has already come out with its 2012 conference schedule, featuring the Mountaineers. You can check out the complete conference schedule here on the Big 12 website, but here are some of the highlights for West Virginia as it takes on its first season in the Big 12.

The Mountaineers' first-ever Big 12 Conference game will be against the Baylor Bears, in Morgantown, on September 29. They play back-to-back games at Texas and Texas Tech the next two weeks. They'll face Oklahoma and Oklahoma State in back-to-back weeks starting on November 10th. After that the schedule gets pretty easy for the Mountaineers, who finish up with games against Iowa State and a lowly Kansas squad.
