South Florida Vs. Pitt Score Update: Panthers Struggle And Fall Behind Early But Cut Bulls Lead To One At Half

After one half at the Petersen Events Center, the Pittsburgh Panthers trail the South Florida Bulls 28-27. The Panthers sleepwalked through the first ten minutes of the game, falling behind 15-4 before a run after the under 12 timeout brought them back into it. Pitt finally tied it with four minutes remaining in the first half and took their first lead with under two minutes to go - but it was a short-lived lead as Bulls jumped back in front to take the one-point lead into the locker room.

J.J. Moore led Pitt with 11 points off the bench. He was the only Panther in double figures, and sparked the comeback with back-to-back breakaway dunks that brought a restless crowd alive at the end of the first half. Nasir Robinson was active on the interior, grabbing five rebounds and scoring five points. The Panthers will look to carry over the momentum from the final ten minutes of the half and snap a three-game losing streak.
