Super Bowl Commercials 2012: Clint Eastwood Joins Up With Chrysler

We've all seen the Chrysler commercials during the year featuring songs by Detroit legend Eminem and featuring Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. The commercials have hit home about how Detroit's struggles and rebounding have been the staple of the commercial. Knowing that, you had to figure that the Chrysler Super Bowl commercial would be along the same lines of the other somber and serious ads of their past.

Chrysler pulled out all the stops for this one, however. They went out and got Josey Wales. Blondie. Dirty Harry. Monco. Philo Beddoe.

While Clint Eastwood doesn't really have any ties to Detroit like the previous stars in the ads, his voice just seems to fit perfectly. I'm a little disappointed he didn't throw in a "Right turn, Clyde" though.
