Duquesne Basketball Coaching Search: Dino Gaudio Not Interested In Position

Stay connected for news and updates

The Duquesne Dukes continue their search for a head coach following the firing of Ron Everhart on March 23. One report by Jenn Menendez of the Post-Gazette says that former Wake Forrest head coach Dino Gaudio has no interest in the position. Gaudio has was deemed a logical front runner for the job given his long-time friendship with Duquesne Athletic DIrector Greg Amodio.

Another popular candidate has been current Kentucky assistant coach, and former Pitt player, Orlando Antigua. He has had assistant coaching stints with John Calipari at Memphis in addition to Kentucky and had served as an assistant at Pitt under Jamie Dixon from 2003-2008. According to Menendez, he has not been contacted for the job as of yet, although that may change once Kentucky's season ends.
