Northeast Conference Basketball Tournament 2012 Bracket And Schedule: Robert Morris Takes On Wagner

The second -- and semifinal -- round of the 2012 Northeast Conference Basketball Tournament kicks off on Sunday, and here's a look at the schedule and matchups.

12:00 PM No. 3 Robert Morris vs. No. 2 Wagner
6:00 PM No. 5 Quinnipiac vs. No. 1 Long Island

Robert Morris dropped Monmouth in the first round of the tournament, 87-68, while Wagner beat Coastal Connecticut, 87-77.

Wagner beat Robert Morris on February 2, 80-69. Wagner only had three losses against Northeast Conference competition all season, and two of those were against top-seeded LIU, so the Colonials will have their work cut out for them, especially since Saturday's matchup comes on the road.

Since that Feburary 2 loss to Wagner, Robert Morris has won seven of its last eight, although several of those wins came against weaker NEC teams like Bryant, St. Francis (the one in Pennsylvania) and Mount St. Mary's.

Wagner is coached by Danny Hurley, and Hurley's brother Bobby, the former Duke and Sacramento Kings guard, is an assistant coach.
