Bracketology: WVU A No. 10 Seed, Big East Has 10 Teams In Latest NCAA Tournament Bracket

Chris Dobbertean’s latest bracket has West Virginia as a No. 10 seed. Joining the Mountaineers as Big East representatives are Syracuse (1), Georgetown (3), Marquette (3), Louisville (6), Notre Dame (6), Cincinnati (9), UConn (10), Seton Hall (12) and USF (12, from the First Four). The Big East’s 10 teams make it the most-represented conference; the Big Ten is next, with eight, although obviously, Penn State isn’t one of those.

It looks like WVU’s spot in March Madness is pretty safe, although the Mountaineers will want to put in a good performance against UConn (or DePaul, and if it’s DePaul, they’d better win) in the Big East Tournament to solidify their status.

Long Island is listed as the Northeast Conference’s representative, although Robert Morris can snag that spot (a 15 seed, so good luck in March Madness) with a win over LIU in the Conference Championship.
