Former Stanford Cardinal offensive guard David DeCastro made a reputation for himself in college as a fantastic pulling guard. The Pittsburgh Steelers will tap into that as DeCastro will remain a right guard on his new team. Current right guard Ramon Foster will be moved to left guard. This news is according to Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

A source within the organization confirmed to me that the Steelers will switch Ramon Foster from right guard to left guard to make room for DeCastro with the plan of using last year's opening-day starting right guard, Doug Legursky, as a game day backup at all three interior line positions.

Foster has started only five career games at left guard and only one since entering the league in 2009. Regardless of all the shifting and moving around of players, the Pittsburgh Steelers are taking a much needed step in improving their offensive line going forward.
