Ron Everhart was let go by Duquesne a couple of weeks ago, and now that the NCAA Tournament is over, they can get to the business of finding a new head man in earnest. One of the candidates whose name is being bandied about is Kentucky assistant and former Pitt player Orlando Antigua. According to Cardiac Hill, he might even be among the frontrunners, but would Antigua find the Kentucky job appealing enough to leave Kentucky? John Calipari summed it up.

"Orlando is ready to be a head coach if that's what he chooses to be. The issue is, we've got a pretty good thing going here so now you have to be a little choosy on what you do."

Antigua has become a hot name because of his recruiting prowess at Kentucky, and the results are almost certainly embellished because of who he works for and the destination he is recruiting to. But if he has earned the Duquesne job after a national championship this season, maybe another stellar recruiting class and a national championship could set him up for a higher-profile gig?
