2013 NFL Draft: Various Pitt Players Rank Highly In Positional Projections

Stay connected for news and updates

The 2013 NFL Draft is still in the distance, but we start getting ready for it during the Collegiate season, which will begin this fall. The Pitt Panthers will certainly be focused on their season this year, but there are a number of players that could also be looking ahead to the NFL Draft a few months later. CBS Sports has released their early positional player rankings, and according to Cardiac Hill, there are a number of Panthers present.

Hubie Graham is rated No. 14 among all tight ends, Jarred Holley is No. 15 among all free safeties, Chris Mike is No. 19 among fullbacks and Mike Shanahan is No. 20 among wide receivers. Again, I believe these lists only rank seniors, so you've got to take these with an even larger grain of salt. Not only are these pretty subjective and before their final season has even begun, but the lists don't take into account juniors who may come out early.

All of these rankings will certainly be in a fair deal of flux over the next handful of months, but it is a good omen for Panthers fans that they have this much talent on their roster.
