The Players Championship 2012 Leaderboard: American Pat Perez Surging On Saturday

The third round of the 2012 Players Championship is under way, with over half the field having teed off at TPC Sawgrass. American Pat Perez is quickly climbing the leaderboard, thanks to four birdies on the front nine. Perez is now four-under for the day and four-under for the tournament. Chris Kirk and Harrison Frazer have also had impressive mornings, with each three-under through 10 holes.

Americans Zach Johnson, Kevin Na, and Matt Kuchar sit atop the leaderboard at eight-under. The leaders tee off after 2:00 p.m. ET on Saturday. 31 players are within five shots of the lead. Rookie Harris English, a winner on the Nationwide Tour event as an amateur sit just one shot off the lead at seven-under.

Tiger Woods, at two-under for the tournament, teed off with fellow Florida resident Keegan Bradley at 11:25 a.m. ET.
