In a 2012 Players Championship that saw plenty of twists and turns, Matt Kuchar would emerge victorious with a two-stroke victory at 13-under par at TPC Sawgrass.

Entering the day one stroke behind then leader Kevin Na, Kuchar put in a steady round of two-under par on Sunday that allowed him to take the lead once Na faltered.

Plenty of golfers were on Kuchar's tail, including Martin Laird who charged up the leaderboard with a round of five-under. He would come up short, however, finishing the day tied for second place with Zach Johnson, Rickie Fowler and Ben Curtis at 11-under, two strokes behind Kuchar.
