2012 Preakness Stakes, Black-Eyed Susan Results: In Lingerie Wins With Mad Final Dash

Although 1-to-1 favorite Mamma Kimbo led for most of the 88th running of the Black-Eyed Susan at Pimlico Friday afternoon, the Todd Pletcher-trained In Lingerie showed a strong finish to take home the win.

Mamma Kimbo slowed around the final turn and homestretch, allowing jockey John Velazquez to make a move with In Lingerie. Just after In Lingerie took the lead, Disposablepleasure and Wildcat's Smile also contended down the stretch for the win, but couldn't catch the leader.

Here are the payoffs from the race.

Pgm Horse Jockey Win Place Show
7 In Lingerie John R. Velazquez 9.80 5.00 4.80
2 Disposablepleasure Javier Castellano 7.20 6.00
8 Wildcat's Smile Rosie Napravnik 8.60
Also ran: 4 - Mamma Kimbo , 1 - Glinda the Good , 3 - Welcome Guest , 9 - Zucchini Flower , 6 - Plum , 5 - Oaks Lily
