The Steelers had a good draft, can the players they picked help out immediately? And what does that mean for their spot in the NFL hierarchy?
The 2012 NFL Draft is in the rearview mirror, which means it's time to start looking ahead to the upcoming season. By all accounts the Steelers had a very successful draft, bringing in a handful of rookies who could help them on the field almost immediately. So how does that affect their spot in the NFL Power Rankings?
The guys at SB Nation came out with their first Power Rankings since the Draft and they have the Steelers as the fifth-best team in the NFL.
The Steelers had a great draft class. Like the Ravens, they'll be there in January.
The four teams ahead of the Steelers are the Packers, Patriots, Giants and the aforementioned Ravens. The Bengals come in at No. 14, making the AFC North one of the most difficult, if not the most difficult, division in the NFL.
