BREAKING: Jockey Robby Albarado arrested, according to Acting Chief State Steward Barbara Borden. He's off today's mounts. #KyOaks

Albarado had been expected to mount Hard Not To Like in the Kentucky Oaks race, the fillies-only version of the Kentucky Derby. Because of this arrest, he will not participate in the Oaks.
While he does not currently have a mount for the Kentucky Derby, there is always the possibility that a horse could wind up open on Derby day and he could ride then. However this assault charge could torpedo those plans.
The Derby is scheduled for a post time of 6:24 p.m. from Churchill Downs in Lexington, Ky. There will be massive TV coverage on NBC Sports Network prior to the running and NBC will have the broadcast of the race.
