One of two of the NHL's biggest free agent dominoes has fallen according to a Wednesday morning report. Brian Lawton tweeted in the early morning hours that defenseman Ryan Suter had agreed to a deal with the Minnesota Wild. The question now is whether or not Suter's decision, if the report is accurate, will cause the other domino to fall, Zach Parise.
Sorry about late night ...... Just back in town. Not sure yet on Parise but word is Ryan Suter will be playing for the MN Wild next season!

In an interview with Yahoo's Puck Daddy blog, Parise spoke about the possibility of playing with Suter. The Wild, along with the Pittsburgh Penguins and others, pursued both players, although it would be tough for the Pens to afford both.
"Ryan's a great player. He's a top defenseman in this League. Those types of players don't come around often. They're tough to find. I would love to play on a team with a defenseman like Ryan Suter. Immediately, you have a power-play guy, you got a shutdown guy. Those guys are hard to find. To get an opportunity to play with him would be great."
The hockey world will again be on the edge of its seat on Wednesday, waiting and watching to see if this is the day Parise makes his decision.
