Rory McIlroy was incredible at Kiawah Island, taking the PGA Championship by a record eight strokes.
By the time Rory McIlroy graced the back nine, it was all but over.
McIlroy blew away the competition, winning by a record eight strokes with a 13-under at the 94th PGA Championship at the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island. McIlroy was dominant to say the least over the weekend, laying waste to the field with an incredible display.
David Lynn played very well but thanks to McIlroy finished a very distant second with a score of 5-under. Keegan Bradley, Justin Rose, Ian Poulter and Carl Pettersson tied for third at 4-under repsectively.
Tiger Woods had a share of the lead going into the weekend but once again fell apart on Saturday. Woods finished his tournament tied for 11th with a group of golfers, including 2012 Masters champion Bubba Watson.
Phil Mickelson was nothing more than an afterthought, with the American finished at 3-over, tied for 36th place.
