Mike Wallace isn't likely to be traded to the Indianapolis Colts, according to the Pittsburgh Steelers blog Steelers Depot. Colts owner Jim Irsay kicked off a storm of speculation with some excited tweeting on Thursday.
SERIOUS TRADE WINDS Swirling! We're talking given up high pick for SERIOUS Vet/Starter!.. these deals often crumble n don't reach completion

Wallace's name popped up in national media coverage, along with Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew.
However, Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert has been adamant that the team has no plans to trade Wallace. Reports indicate that the disgruntled wideout will sign his $2.742 million tender offer and report to Pittsburgh after this weekend. Once he's back with the team, the Steelers have said they can renew contract negotiations with Wallace.
