The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles as the two Pennsylvania teams clash to open their preseason of the 2012 NFL season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will open the 2012 NFL preseason taking on their in-state rival in the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. The Steelers will get their first look at a new-look offensive line on Thursday evening, which features rookies David DeCastro and Mike Adams will both start on the offensive line.

It will also feature the Steelers passing attack without big play threat Mike Wallace, who's still holding out in the hopes of getting a new big contract. The scheme for the Steelers is expected to look much different after the departure of Bruce Arians and the addition of Todd Haley as the offensive coordinator.
