The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New York Jets on Sunday and stayed healthy in the process.

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a great Sunday this past weekend, beating the New York Jets 27-10 in their home opener and avoiding any injuries in the process.

The aging Steelers are already without a plethora of key players. Luckily, Pittsburgh doesn't appear to have anyone ready to join them after defeating Gang Green.

Mike Tomlin's team is already without Troy Polamalu, Rashard Mendenhall and James Harrison. Stevenson Sylvester also has been out with a MCL sprain.

Polamalu was questionable for most of the week but couldn't go due to a strained calf. The USC product is expected to receive continued treatment in hopes he can play Week 3.

Harrison missed his second consecutive game with a knee injury. The ex-NFL Defensive Player of the Year was also questionable, but most expected him to require more time. With the Oakland Raiders up next, it's unclear whether Harrison will be ready in time.

Mendenhall is still working his way back from a torn ACL suffered last year. The running back is probably still a few weeks away.
