Steelers Vs. Broncos: Peyton Manning Leads Broncos Past Steelers In 31-19 Win

A Ben Roethlisberger interception late in the fourth quarter sealed the victory for the Denver Broncos as the Pittsburgh Steelers traveled to Denver on Sunday night in with a 31-19 win.

The Steelers had the game under control through the first half and led 10-7, but a 71-yard touchdown pass from Peyton Manning to Demaryius Thomas seemed to give the Broncos all of the momentum for the remainder of the game.

Thomas would finish the game with 5 catches for 110 yards and a score while Manning was brilliant with a 129.2 QB rating following a 19-of-26 performance and 253 yards passing and two touchdowns.

The Steelers looked in synch for at least one half of football, but the Denver defense held Ben Roethlisberger and Co. to just 6 points in the second half. Despite winning the possession battle with a 35:05 time of possession, the Steelers managed just 26 yards on the ground as it was Denver's defense that looked stifling.

Willis McGahee finished with 16 carries for 63 yards on the ground for Denver. The Steelers had just 75 yards on the ground behind nine Jonathan Dwyer carries for 43 yards.
