The release of the Week 12 BCS Rankings was not sweet music to fans of area teams, as no Big East teams were included in the poll after Cincinnati's 24-21 loss to West Virginia Saturday knocked them from the No. 23 rank they held one week ago. Penn State also fell nine spots from No. 12 to No. 21 after their 17-14 loss to Nebraska Saturday. Nebraska moved up three spots from No. 19 to No. 16 in the poll.
