Penn State vs. Mississippi: Rebels Hold Lead At Half

Stay connected for news and updates

Cammeron Woodyard breaks the Ole Miss run for Penn State with a layup and 3-pointer. Rebels still lead but Penn State looks a little more organized offensively.

Sasa Borovnjak pulls Penn State even at 30 with a gritty bucket underneath. He's up to eight points on the evening to tie for the team lead. If you're coach Patrick Chambers, you have to like that production from a forward. Penn State's bigs have struggled to score this season but Borovnjak has entered tonight and made an impact thus far.

Mississippi's Murphy Holloway just posterized Billy Oliver with a two-handed slam in his face. Powerful stuff there.

The teams are trading the lead now as we head down the stretch here in the half. Both are on a 70-point pace. Setting up for a good second half of basketball here at the Jordan Center.

At the half, Ole Miss leads Penn State 35-34.
