2011 March Madness Bracket: Will Penn State And Duquesne Make It To The NCAA Tournament?

SBNation.com has its latest 2011 NCAA Tournament bracket up, along with a cool list of games for the next few days that could affect the bracket going forward. Pitt, unsurprisingly, as ranked as a No. 1 seed, taking the top seed in a Southeast bracket that also includes Kansas at No. 2. West Virginia is the No. 7 seed in the same bracket.

Other top seeds include Duke, Ohio State and Texas, while Notre Dame, San Diego State and BYU take the other three No. 2 seeds.

Duquesne and Penn State are in the "also considered" section, and at this point they're on the outside looking in. Consecutive losses to St. Bonaventure and Xavier have really hurt Duquesne, and the Dukes need a blistering finish to their season to make it as an at-large bid. That will be tough going, considering that they have games against some fairly tough A-10 teams, including Richmond, Dayton and Rhode Island.

Penn State is coming off a blowout win against Northwestern, but still has just a 6-7 conference record overall. A win at home against Minnesota on Thursday would help them a great deal, and if they can somehow pull out a win against Wisconsin on Sunday, all the better.
