NCAA Women's Tournament Results: Tennessee, Stanford, Notre Dame, Gonzaga Advance

Here are the results of yesterday's games in the NCAA Women's Championship, as four teams moved on to the Elite 8.

No. 1 Tennessee came back from a two-point halftime deficit to beat No. 4 Ohio State. Shekinna Stricklen scored 20 points for the Lady Vols, while Samantha Prahalis had 22 for the Buckeyes.

No. 2 Notre Dame blew out No. 6 Oklahoma, 78-53. Brittany Mallory scored 20 points for the Irish, and Nicole Griffin had 18 for the Sooners. Notre Dame dominated Oklahoma on the boards, with Devereaux Peters grabbing 13 rebounds.

No. 1 Stanford beat No. 5 North Carolina, 72-65, with Nnemkadi and Chiney Ogwumike combining for 35 points and 13 rebounds for Stanford, and Italee Lucas scoring 22 for UNC.

Finally, No. 11 Gonzaga continued its kamikaze run through the tournament by knocking off No. 7 Louisville, 76-69. Courtney Vandersloot had 29 points for Gonzaga, while Shoni Schimmel had 18 for Louisville.
