Penn State Vs. Indiana State: Nittany Lions Take 28-0 Lead To The Half

Stay connected for news and updates

Drew Astorino has been very active in the first half today. In addition to that first quarter interception, he's deflected a couple of balls and picked up a tackle.

Matthew McGloin just showed a quick flash of his reckless 2010 self, throwing a pass right into the stomach of an Indiana State defensive lineman. It was a poor decision, and while it didn't come back to bite him as the pass fell incomplete, it's the kind of bad decision making that could sabotage any shot he has of winning the starting job if he keeps it up.

Alex Butterworth just made his first punt of the season, a 45-yard effort. Not bad to start the season.

Joe Suhey ends the half with a run. Penn State is up 28-0 and has dominated pretty much all phases of the game to this point. Stay tuned to SB Nation Pittsburgh for some halftime stats.
