Penn State Football Reaction: Tom Bradley Talks Defense

The Penn State defense dominated Indiana State's offense on Saturday in the Nittany Lions' 41-7 victory. The Sycamores couldn't get anything going in the running game or the passing game, racking up just 65 yards rushing and 105 yards passing. Take away one 29-yard completion in the first half and the Lions would have held the Sycamore would have finished with well less than 100 yards both rushing and passing.

The secondary forced two turnovers. Drew Astorino picked off a pass in the first quarter, and Adrian Amos intercepted one in the fourth. Astorino also broke up a couple of passes.

There were also good things happening on the defensive line, where Jordan Hill and Jack Crawford notched a half a sack each. Hill also forced and recovered a fumble to finish up what was a productive afternoon for him.

Linebacker Mike Hull led the team in tackles with seven on the afternoon, while Gerald Hodges had a sack and three tackles.

All this pleased defensive coordinator Tom Bradley, though he's still looking for improvement next weekend against Alabama. Here's some video of his reaction postgame.
