Penn State Head Coach Bill O'Brien Will Have Seven Full-Time Coaches On Staff By Wednesday

New Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien stated on Sunday that he expects to have seven full-time coaches in place by the middle of this week. O'Brien told Adam Rittenberg of ESPN that his staff will be a mix of men with college and NFL coaching experience, with strong recruiting abilities and past NCAA championship rings. So far, O'Brien has announced that Larry Johnson will stay on with PSU and it was reported on Sunday that Charles London will be joining the staff as well. Those two will lead the recruiting efforts while O'Brien continues to coach the New England Patriots during the NFL playoffs.

By the middle of the week, however, those two should have plenty of company. Via Adam Rittenberg of ESPN:

By Wednesday, there will be at the very least seven full-time coaches. You're allowed nine on staff, and seven of those guys will be in place by Wednesday in the building, in addition to a couple guys that are coming on board for different roles. So they'll know who their coaches are very soon here.
