The Owls are looking to replace Steve Addazio, who fled to Boston on Tuesday.

Former Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Bradley might be a candidate for the Temple head coach job, according to Tom Dienhart of BTN.com.

Temple is looking for a new head coach after Steve Addazio left to take the Boston College job on Tuesday.

Bradley is best known for replacing Joe Paterno after he was fired in November 2011. Bradley was the head coach for four games, including the TicketCity Bowl.

Bradley resigned from the team after he was not named the new head coach. Instead, Penn State hired former New England Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien. In his first year at the helm, O'Brien led the Nittany Lions to an 8-4 overall record and a 6-2 record in the Big Ten.

Addazio coached Temple for two seasons. In 2011, he led the Owls to a 9-4 overall record. His second season wasn't as successful, as Temple went just 4-7 this year and 2-5 in the Big East.

Addazio is taking over a Boston College team that finished 2-10 this season.
