Penn State Vs. Purdue: Nittany Lions Lose Woodyard, Get Blown Out By Boilermakers

Not only did the Nittany Lions get pounded by Purdue on Wednesday Night, but they also lost senior Cammeron Woodyard for the rest of the season with a broken foot.

Penn State Vs. Purdue Final Score: Cammeron Woodyard Lost For Season As Nittany Lions Lose 80-56

The Penn State Nittany Lions lost their lone senior in the shoot around on Wednesday night as Cammeron Woodyard broke his foot before the game. That loss carried over into the game as the Nittany Lions were pounded by the Purdue Boilermakers 80-56 in West Lafayette. Tim Frazier picked up 24 points for Penn State in the loss, but is just wasn't enough as the Lions go down by 24 points. Jermaine Marshall also picked up 10 points, but he shot just one of six from the three-point line.

As for Purdue, Robby Hummel nearly picked up a double-double with 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists on the night. The Boilermakers just pounded Penn State on the boards out rebounding them 29-15 and also had D.J. Byrd pick up 14 points from the bench in the victory. Penn State falls to just 4-13 in Big Ten play with the loss, losing their third game in a row.
