Franco Harris' Mic Shut Off At Penn State Board Of Trustees Meeting

During today's Penn State University board of trustees meeting, former Nittany Lion and NFL Hall of Fame running back Franco Harris let his voice be heard, albeit as an unregistered speaker, via Deadspin. There is a embedded video of Harris speaking with several reporters following the scene, and he doesn't look too happy.

Franco Harris wanted to speak at the meeting, but board chair Karen Peetz rejected his request. Harris didn't comply, and continued to speak, despite being unregistered to do so. Soon after, his microphone was cut but it didn't end there as Harris continued to speak before ultimately leaving the room once he realized he was being shunned.

Harris has a well-documented history of being critical of the sanctions given to Penn State and has questioned the validity of The Freeh Report. Quite frankly, Harris can't believe the severity of the sanctions handed to his former school and doesn't understand why they would accept them.
