Tom Bradley Pitt Rumors: Source Says Reports "Erroneous"

Stay connected for news and updates

As the smoke continues to build around Tom Bradley's candidacy for the Pitt job, more than a few people are now running in the opposite direction of the hot rumor. Fight On State's Mark Brennan quotes a source today who says reports last night that Bradley had been offered and accepted the position at Pittsburgh

"Those reports are erroneous, false and absolutely deplorable," said the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "They are entirely false. This is what happens when people don't do their homework."

The source refuted a report by WTAE last evening around 7:00 P.M. that Bradley had been hired by Pitt. Brennan's story also notes that Nathan Stupar, a Penn State linebacker who last night congratulated Bradley on being hired at Pitt  in fact had no inside knowledge of the situation and was merely reacting to the media reports out at that time.

As of right now, things still look quiet on the Bradley-Pitt front.
