Todd Graham To Arizona State Departure Appears To Be Confirmed

Stay connected for news and updates

The rumors of the departure of Pitt head football coach Todd Graham have now been confirmed by many sources. In fact, you could probably now say that the move appears all but certain. Brett McMurphy:

Pittsburgh official confirms to @CBSSports Todd Graham headed to Arizona State

That means Pitt will be hunting for a head coach for the third time in a year. After the departure of Dave Wannstedt, they picked Mike Haywood, but let him go after Haywood was arrested for domestic violence. Then it was Graham. Now, after one mediocre season, the Panthers will be on the coaching carousel yet again. It’s been a tumultuous year for Pitt, with the departure of two coaches and the school’s own departure from the Big East to the ACC. But it appears there will be more turnover.

Pitt fans, meanwhile, will have a new villain in Graham, who left with incredible speed. (Let’s just call it “high-octane” speed.)
