For those Pitt fans who heard or watched it online, lots mentioned in Todd Graham’s initial press conference at Arizona State sounded eerily similar.

Graham brought up his family to kick off the presser as he did at Pitt and the youngest child was again adorned in the appropriate team garb. The new coach then proceeded to discuss the same qualities he espoused in the Panthers’ press conference less than a year ago: integrity, discipline, loyalty. You name it, he said it.

Some news that came out of it was that apparently Graham’s wife Penni has reason to be there since her parents live in Arizona. Graham repeated several times that this was the first time he’s ever made a coaching move that’s benefited his wife.

Other than that, though, it was your standard Todd Graham presser. Promises of championships, how much he loves tradition, and of course, talk of a high octane offense.

Yeah, good luck with that.
