Tony Dorsett Talking About Coaching Pitt At Bowl Game

Stay connected for news and updates

Legendary former Pitt running back and Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett is seeing what he can do to help current players in light of former coach Todd Graham's departure to Arizona State on Wednesday.

Dorsett tweets:

I've talked to x Pitt players about some of going to bowl game to help coach - our young men deserve better

Pitt faces Southern Methodist at the BBVA Compass Bowl in Birmingham, Ala. on Jan. 7, and at this point, will do so without Graham and offensive coordinator Mark Norvell, both now in Tempe, as well as three assistants who left to join Rich Rodriguez's staff at Arizona. Interim head coach Keith Patterson remains to lead what is otherwise a fairly stripped coaching staff.

Any help Dorsett and Co. can offer in helping Pitt prepare for the bowl will likely be sorely needed at this point.
