Jon Baldwin Reportedly Fights Thomas Jones In Chiefs Locker Room, Injures Hand

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, 2011 first-round pick, and former Pitt star Jon Baldwin will reportedly miss the remainder of the Chiefs' preseason games after hurting his hand.

How did he hurt his hand? Well, that's the real story.

According to Nick Wright on Twitter, Jonathan Baldwin and Thomas Jones got into a locker room scuffle a few days ago.

Yikes. Here's Nick Wright's Twitter. There's some interesting stuff there:

↵
↵

What I'm hearing on Baldwin: "he's as advertised. Diva, spoiled, doesn't wanna listen. Can run a Go and a Slant, and doesn't wanna work."

↵

We'll probably hear more soon either confirming or refuting this stuff, but attitude concerns followed Baldwin at Pitt as well. Thomas Jones is a 33-year-old veteran, not another rookie, and it's probably not good that Jones reportedly got in a fight with someone like that.

↵

At this point, you have to begin to wonder whether the Chiefs are happy with their selection of Baldwin. He was arguably a bit of a reach at the end of the first round even before these reports.
