College Basketball Rankings: Pitt Drops Out Of USA Today Coaches Poll

Pitt dropped out of the USA Today Coaches Poll with an awful week.

After an awful two weeks that have featured consecutive losses to Wagner, Notre Dame and Cincinnati, the Pitt Panthers are out of the USA Today Coaches Poll. The Panthers will get only one chance to rebound this week, with a game against DePaul on January 5; it's unlikely a victory there would help them much. Pitt was at No. 22 in last week's poll.

The Big East schools included in the rankings are Syracuse (No. 1), UConn (No. 8), Georgetown (No. 9), Louisville (No. 10) and Marquette (No. 20).

Here are the rankings.
