After two Big East Conference games, Pitt sits in last place in the league standings with an 0-2 record.

Friday's 14-13 loss to the Syracuse Orange put the Pittsburgh Panthers in the basement of the Big East Conference standings. After six weeks of regular-season play, Pitt (0-2 Big East) is in a tie with the South Florida Bulls (0-2) for last place in the league. The two schools sit two full games behind the first place Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

Behind Rutgers are the Orange, Cincinnati Bearcats and Temple Owls who're all 1-0 in conference play. Both the Bearcats and Orange defeated the Panthers, while the Owls upset the Bulls, 37-28, on Saturday.

The Louisville Cardinals sit in sole possession of fifth place, but they have yet to play a league game. The Connecticut Huskies are 0-1 after losing to Rutgers, 19-3, on Saturday.

Here's the Big East standings after Week 6:

Rutgers (2-0, 5-0 overall)

Cincinnati (1-0, 4-0)

Temple (1-0, 2-2)

Syracuse (1-0, 2-3)

Louisville (0-0, 5-0)

Connecticut (0-1, 3-3)
