Pitt vs. USF 2012: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

Justin K. Aller

A win against USF would mean bowl eligibility for Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh Panthers will get one chance at bowl eligibility in 2012, and it will come on the season's final weekend.

After upsetting the Rutgers Scarlet Knights last weekend, the 5-6 Pittsburgh Panthers can become eligible for the postseason with a sixth win against the South Florida Bulls in Tampa this weekend when the two teams close out their seasons Saturday night.

After dropping consecutive games to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Connecticut Huskies, Pittsburgh looked to be on the outside looking in at the bowl season, but now one more win from running back Ray Graham, quarterback Tino Sunseri and company will get the Panthers to a bowl.

South Florida has only won one game since winning two straight to open the 2012 season, an early November victory against Connecticut.

Time and Date: Saturday Dec. 1, 7 p.m. ET

Location: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa Bay, Fla.

TV: ESPN2

Odds: Pittsburgh is favored by between six and seven points on the road
