CBI Basketball Tournament: Pitt Leads Washington State 38-35 At The Half

Stay connected for news and updates

In the decisive Game 3 of the 2012 CBI, the Pitt Panthers hold a 38-35 lead at halftime at the Petersen Event Center.

The two teams have remarkably similar stat lines to this point, however the efforts of Tray Woodall and Lamar Patterson with 9 points each have given the Panthers the slim edge.

For Washington State, Mike Ladd has kept the Cougars within striking distance, as he also has nine points while shooting 3-of-3 from the field.

Pitt has benefited from taking advantage of Washington State mistakes, as seven of the team's points have come off turnovers. Look for them to continue to do the same in the second half.
