Penguins star Sidney Crosby has confirmed what we already knew after we saw him in practice this morning wearing a black helmet, he has been cleared for contact and is eligible to practice with the rest of his teammates.

There is no word on when Crosby might return to the ice to play for the Penguins, however, and Coach Bylsma refused to even speculate. But progress is being made, and that is what is important.
