Penguins Schedule 2011: Penguins Visit Division Rival Islanders On Saturday

Stay connected for news and updates

The Pittsburgh Penguins will visit their division rivals the New York Islanders on Saturday night.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have lost two games in a row and their Atlantic Division is currently seeing a three-team dogfight for first place. The Philadelphia Flyers have won four straight, sitting atop the division with a one-point lead over the Pens. Hot at their heels are the New York Rangers, who are 6-3-1 over their last 10 games.

It's with this battle in mind that the Penguins head into the weekend. On Saturday, the Penguins will visit the New York Islanders, their 9-11-6 division rival that is currently residing in the cellar. Pittsburgh is hoping to get back on the winning track against a lesser opponent and hope to at least not lose any ground in the battle for first place.

The game against the Islanders will kick off at 7:00 PM EST on Saturday, December 10. The game will be televised on ROOT (HD). The Pens will return home on Tuesday to host the Detroit Red Wings.
