Sidney Crosby jerseys were the top-selling shirts in the NHL last season, the Penguins' website notes, despite Crosby missing much of the year with a concussion.
↵↵↵Crosby led the league in jersey sales for the sixth consecutive year according to Sports Business Daily. That means Crosby has led the league in jersey sales since his rookie season.

In addition to Crosby, four other Penguins were in the top 17 in jersey sales: Evgeni Malkin (No. 5), Marc-Andre Fleury (No. 10) and Kris Letang (No. 17). Malkin also missed much of the season due to injury. The Penguins were the only team with that many players in the top 17. The rest of the top five consisted of Alex Ovechkin, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane.
↵This isn't a huge surprise - the Pens are a popular team, and their fans support them, as the ridiculous All-Star vote totals for several of their players suggests.
