The NHL's top two scorers will meet Saturday afternoon when Evgeni Malkin's Pittsburgh Penguins (34-21-5, 73 pts) welcome Steven Stamkos' Tampa Bay Lightning (27-27-6, 60 pts) to the CONSOL Energy Center. Malkin and Stamkos are tied for the most points in the NHL, having each notched 73 points on the season.
This is the final matchup between the two teams this season, with the Penguins winning two of the first three. Malkin has been a beast in Pittsburgh's two wins, notching a hat trick and two assists in a 6-3 victory on January 15 and also scoring twice in the 4-2 win February 12. On the other hand, Stamkos has been held to just two assists and six shots in the three previous meetings between the teams.
Pittsburgh still has their sights set on winning the Atlantic Division, especially after Tuesday night's 2-0 win over the current leaders, the New York Rangers.
